Social Studies: Five Themes of Geography regions (students had time to do this in class)

Math: Chapter 2 Lesson 3 Pg 53; 2-30 Evens Students started this in class.

Science: Chapter 2 Lesson 3 Pg 53; 1-5 We did this together in class.

Spelling: Review Unit 6 pg 22. There won't be a pretest because this is a review unit.

English: Pg 24; 1-20 We did 1-6 together, students had time to do the rest in class.

Reading: Do at least 4 vocabulary words for tomorrow. Our story this week is "Climb On"

Please go to bed early tonight and have scrambled eggs and fruit for breakfast! We will have parts 1 and 2 of the MEAP Test tomorrow morning, so it's important to be rested and satisfied.

Spelling: No homework, but Unit 6 was passed out. Unit 6 is a review unit, so there will be no pretest on Tuesday next week, only a test on Friday.

English: Lesson 7 Correcting Fragments and Run-ons, do Written Practice, page 24; 1-20.

Reading: Students must take one book quiz a quarter at their lexile level. Please ask your child if he or she has completed this requirement. If not, ask them what book they are reading and have them tell you about it.

Have a great weekend! Mine will be short. I'll be attending the Lake Superior Leadership Academy from 5:00 Friday afternoon until 5:00 on Saturday! :)

Spelling: We took the pretest today, five times each for the ones you got wrong, and finish Unit 5 by Thursday.

English: The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, essay is due on Thursday.

Reading: We corrected the vocabulary words for "Helen Keller" today and the students read the story. Questions are due on Thursday.
