Reading: Goose Tracks and Blazing Stars vocabulary due on Wednesday. Book Discussion Groups meet tomorrow and Thursday.
The Poetry reading went really well today. Everyone did an excellent job. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who attended. It was fun!

English: Page 262, the first page of the English Review is due tomorrow, page 263 will be due Friday.
Reading: We have book discussion groups today, if you have extra time you can begin to read the story, otherwise we will read it together in class on Friday, because we have the reproductive health presentation on Thursday during reading time.
Our poetry party has been changed to Monday at 1:00. Students are allowed to bring a plastic bottle of pop for themselves and I will have juice for those who choose not to bring pop. Also, would anyone be willing to bring in cookies for the celebration? If so, that would be great, please call me at school 475-7866 from 12:00- 12:45 or at home and leave a message. Thank you!

On April 24 Ronda Mattila RN, Health coordinator, will present the Reproductive Health Program. The objectives of the program focus on personal hygiene, physical and emotional changes, and developing a better understanding of adolescence. The state mandated pretest was given today and there will be a posttest one week after the presentation. The test has been approved by the NPS Reproductive Health Board and is a tool to measure the retention of material. If you would like more information, or if you do not want your child to participate, please contact Ronda at (475-7803, Ext. 105)
